I live in Madison, WI, but come from from Indiana by way of Kentucky. I’m a happily partnered mother of two beautiful kids, caretaker for a beloved cat and dog, and work in higher ed. I use this space to explore readings and the growth of the Fediverse.

💀 I was a very prominent feminist blogger when that was a thing. I read a lot, and like to think about history, politics, sociology, fashion, art, education, tech and the internet, good writing and food. I’m a leftist, not the fun kind. My pet subjects are cultural criticism, political strategy, Midwest history and reproductive rhetoric and politics.
